I'm not defending them at all, just saying don't get upset if you haven't got your tickets yet; it doesn't mean you're not still going. They're notoriously shit (especially when it comes to Manics tours in my experience; I always get Idlewild tickets months in advance from them), so not entirely surprised by these fuck ups.

Oh I completely expect incompetence. I have no idea how or why, but I take it for granted. I just don't understand how. Even with a tour in more relatively short notice like this, we're still talking what two and half months? There's no excuse.

Feel quite lucky reading through all of this. I've been to loads of gigs but very rarely had problems with ticket delivery.

I've never had a problem with ticket delivery in my life - spanning festivals, seetickets, ticketmaster, a few private sales etc.

They really don't fuck about. Well, apart from one time V Festival sent me some family's tickets (I got in contact with them to return!)

This is the first time tickets appear to have failed to show up/got lost in the post in my personal experience. I know James/MSPKYE had to pick his Sheffield Academy ticket up at the box office on the Postcards tour, as Ticketweb "forgot" to dispatch it. I know of other Manics fans who've had tickets show up on the morning of the gig. It always seems to be Manics tickets; never had issues with other bands, which makes me wonder if management/promoters or whoever are the ones holding them back until the last minute.

I'm very surprised by the mention of Seetickets. That's the one site that has never failed me, always got tickets, and they always arrived in good time.

Constant problems for me to do with delivery and absurdly bad customer service.

I internally cheer when I see a gig has etickets through wegottickets or songkick. Total peace of mind and reasonable prices.

It was recorded delivery before 1pm. It arrived at 12:58.

Jesus, Royal Mail. I've been camped by the letter box since 7a.m.
