Reminds me, can we have a petition to have The Anchoress duet with them on that song on the upcoming tour? She'd be amazing at it, and it's about time that song was heard again.

I was pleased to see Nicky mention Black Holes for the Young, I really like that one and listen to it quite a lot. And also the mention of Billion Balconies too
I reckon we'll start to get a lot more interviews and stuff come the end of August in the weeks running up to the album release.

There is (or was, if it's been cancelled) at least one festival date this summer where Sophie Ellis Bextor was on the same bill as them.

I'd be much more interested in that.

Yep, Party At The Palace, 7th August, over in Linlithgow. It's actually one of the few festivals that, so far at least, hasn't already been cancelled.

Was going to make a thread about the Live Lounge show. But here's the link which will become active after it finishes tomorrow night. And will normally be up for 28 days https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000y027

Nicky seeming to claim that being left-wing should automatically make you anti-Royalist: https://www.loudersound.com/news/id-...ers-nicky-wire

Specifics like this just lead to more Judean People's Front mentalities.

Good interview. I knew nothing of this book either. Nicky also seems to confirm KYE will be a 21st anniversary release.

Quite a good interview. Probably the best explanation for Orwellian so far (oooh controversy!). Still looking forward to solo album no.2!

I have barely any desire to engage with those platforms. The very worst platforms, they just make me think of Nick Clegg in California, dictating people’s futures. How the fuck did that happen? The man who led his party into political oblivion.
Well, he's not wrong. I do enjoy reading a long form interview with them whether it's there or, say, in the quietus and his hatred of big tech definitely appeals to me though i would add to his social criticism the sheer corruption, surveillance and tax avoidance these corps engage in. But still, i want them bringing in the vamipiric new blood as he once put it and brother, that ain't in trad media.

Yes! Good lad. Now play it live, thanks.

Really good interview though.
