That ’new features on every album’ better mean we get some lovely new Lifeblood information or a nice retrospective for it. Ordered my copy because I’m deep into the fanboy mode again.

If it’s anything like the SATT-era interviews on the official site where all three answered questions, I wouldn’t expect him to elaborate in much detail.

Nicky: [a long paragraph of vivid detail]
James: [a couple of sentences explaining something in a really roundabout way]
Sean: “No.”

I dont know what I've been doing but I totally misread the record collector thing. Thought it was an extended article in the magazine, so their Instagram post was a surprise !

Note to self - pay closer attention !

The only full magazine one as far as I'm aware is the NME one? Definitely overdue for an update

Very very very rare I look at that mag. Remember reading issues in the nineties at a friend's.
But this one? First time they've ever been as in-depth as what the magazine covers.
And the day after my birthday as well.
Can a Manics fan dream of better days ahead? *World events and situations notwithstanding

Yes, you're right, the nme originals edition. I have that and a bunch of nme and big issue and mojo magazines but only that was probably an entire issue dedicated to them. I feel like there were some others but maybe not.

And of course it's on msppedia.

I might've missed a post about this but just in case nobody has spotted it then Cafe Royal Books have just published a Manics in Ireland 1991 zine.

If anyone in London wants to buy it then they're usually always stocked in Foyles (or at least were pre-Covid) if you want to save on postage.

The valuation of rare Manics releases in the RC mag made me laugh.

My mag just arrived, looks really good, will enjoy reading this over the next week My question didn't get asked which I can take, but then I got annoyed seeing some people get 2/3 questions used

I forgot I ordered the RC magazine so that was a nice surprise in the mailbox.

Loved the long long long fan interview bit, and hooray for some (mild) Lifeblood positivity - and Wire’s sly nod towards an anniversary issue!

Didn't expect it to show up today. Thought it'd show up next month like that Q with the selected singles on vinyl did. Nice surprise

They’re spot on as far as I can tell
