iTunes National Treasures - Track by Track videos

Hello.
I understand that the iTunes edition has track by track videos for all 38 tracks, rather the select few the band have previewed elsewhere online.
I've already purchased the deluxe edition of the album, and don't really fancy shelling out again, just for the added bonus of the videos.
For those of us who already own the album, might someone out there be willing to upload these videos to Youtube?
Cheers x

No it doesn't contain a 'track-by-track' video for all singles. It has one 46-minute video that covers most, but not all of the singles. I think all the ones you get with the iTunes LP are online already on various sites, see manics site for links. It does contain the music videos for each track, but not the extra 'bonus' ones on the DVD. Faster's is different.

These are the singles that don't feature in the so-called 'track-by-track'.

*Stay Beautiful
*From Despair To Where
*La Tristesse Durera (Scream To A Sigh)
*Life Becoming A Landslide
*She Is Suffering
*Everything Must Go
*Australia
*Tsunami
*The Masses Against The Classes
*Found That Soul (though briefly mentioned in comparison to So Why Sad)
*Let Robeson Sing
*There By The Grace Of God
*Autumnsong
*Some Kind Of Nothingness

Can you only get this by buying the whole album off iTunes?

It's just the band talking about their singles (except the ones I listed above), annoyingly spread over 5 different sites.

The links were on the official website, as I said, but here you go:

Part1 (thequietus.com)

Part2 (virginmedia.com)

Part3 (football365.com)

Part4 (drownedinsound.com)

Part5 (muzu.tv)

Oh, someone in the other thread told me there were videos for all singles.
So there's nothing we haven't already seen elsewhere?
That's lame.

Anyone with too much spare time in their hands willing to give brief nutshells of their track-by-track comments on the songs that aren't on the five vids linked above?

I think the confusion possibly arose between the music videos and the track-by-track video.

Enter the Cashcow... (wasn't that a remake of a Bruce Lee movie...?)

So in short these are the main content differences with the iTunes LP as far as I've seen so far:
-so-called 'Track-by-Track' video (all as one thing instead of edited into 5 parts like on the web).
-Alternate Faster video.
-'Alternate' You Love Us video (Heavenly version of YLU) in place of the GT version You Love Us music video that is on the NT DVD.
-No alternate Autumnsong video (i.e. the simpler angel/devil girls one).
-No Jackie Collins Existential Question Time video.

I think the iTunes version is a perfectly nice choice for £10.99, but they're obviously being cheeky scamps as usual making us buy all versions if we want everything.

By 'their' do you mean the Manics or 'anyone with too much spare time in their hands'?

The track-by-tracks are the same I think. The exclusions I listed apply to both the web videos and the iTunes LP version.

It's commercially available on iTunes. It's the same video.

The Manics for the latter 'their'. Confusing grammar, but then again I am ill at the moment (excuses excuses).

The track-by-tracks are the same I'd assume, but the five vids posted above do not have all of the songs that aren't on your exclusions list (all the KYE to LB stuff, mainly). Would be interested to know what they have to say about them*.

*even though it's pretty easy to guess what they're saying about them anyway

Stay Beautiful

NW : this is from our inferior first album, although sometimes i have been misquoted as saying it is our best.
JDB : i did some nice guitar on this. i remember Sean, Richey and Nicky all tried me to try out the pie shop near the studio at the time we recorded it, but i refrained back then.
SM :

From Despair To Where

NW : yeah, this was pretty good, but it was no PFAYM. it might have been better if i sang it.
JDB : by the time this charted, we were getting a little bit of money, so i started dabbling with a pie every now and then
SM :

La Tristesse Durera (Scream To A Sigh)

NW : i really, really wish that Billy Brag had done this, then i could have called him an avante garde little wanker.
JDB : La what? oh, that one. yeah, all good. steak and kidney i think i had around then
SM : wasn't this done around the time the first PlayStation came on the market?
NW : don't know

Life Becoming A Landslide

JDB : well, what would you say about this one?
NW : bit of filler, really.
SM : James spat out a pepper steak pie during one of the takes, i think.

She Is Suffering

NW : shit song from a shit album. God, we really didn't get started till we did Send Away The Tigers, did we? this is embarrassing.
JDB : I remember thinking "a-ha, this will crack America". they must have massive pies over there.
SM : not one cunting journalist mentioned how i did a Charlie Cunting Watts thing on the drums with this.

Everything Must Go

NW : there's socialism, then there was the hope of flogging the tits off this song to any advertiser you like who had a sale on. not to be.
JDB : tough times, man. it was like every time i walked into a pie shop they said "aren't you the one that disappeared" and wanted to call the police.
SM : what the fuck is this? is it even ours?

Australia

NW : this one i wrote about my feelings and what i wanted to do with the attention after Richey vanished. i just wanted to get as far away as possible.

Tsunami

SM : the whole purpose of this song was to try and get that bellend of a cockney twat Jonathan Ross in the studio to guest the vocals for it. that's where the whole "disco dancing with the rapists" line came from. i remember a year or so before we did this i had been out on the lash with Bez, i think Kermit from Black Grape too, that one that didn't quit Suede and probably Cressa. ripped to the tits we were, man. anyway, we had watched that Life Of Brian film, and when he does that whole "we shall welease Wodewick" thing, fucking hilarious. so when whatsisname, the tall fucker
JDB : Nicky
SM : yeah, that's the cunt, when he came in with them words, i said, to myself, fucking hell man, we have got to get Wossy down here to do the vocal for this, will be fucking hilarious. fat bastard never returned my calls, though, cunt. think he was probably promoting that book he had at the time, Mad About Wanking.
NW : we've told you before that wasn't a real book, it was a piss take in Viz
SM : fucking shut up you lanky streak of piss. anyway, i had a think about who else could do the song but say "w" when they meant "r" and i could not think of anyone, so i said, sort of, fuck it, let us just play it straight then. and straight it went into the charts, man. fuck you, mother fuckers
JDB : yeah, the guitar part does make it a bit tricky to do that hop thing i do, but i manage.

The Masses Against The Classes

NW : last decent fucking number one the UK had, really.
JDB : that's the one where we did that "aaa AAaahh AAAAAAAH" thing, isn't it?
SM :

Found That Soul

NW : lovely bit of bass on that, boys
SM : lovely bit of snare drum, i think you mean
JDB : and people ask why we didn't do much new for a while after this? how do you lose a soul, never mind find one. fuck's sake.

Let Robeson Sing

NW : i was gonna do this really moving tribute to the man, but then thought "fuck it, let me just put in random points of his life in it as if a 7 or 8 year old had highlighted them in a book". worked pretty well.
JDB : i had no idea this was going anywhere near the fucking tape for the album, let alone on the fucking thing and then out as a fucking single. Sean said "just sing these random lines quick so we can check the balance in the cans" or some other technical term. i suppose i should have noted he was laughing as he fiddled with the knobs.
SM : is this the one Browny remixed? wicked!

There By The Grace Of God

NW : for a while this was the best fucking song i'd ever fucking written, but now i have done some more it's shit
SM : hanging around the tube station doing the video was fucking ace.
JDB : you can say that again! people thought i was a real busker, got enough coinage for pies for the month of that shoot, result.

Autumnsong

NW : fucking masterpiece, this. all that shit we did about this junk, do that in the summertime, motorcycle something - fucking rubbish. this is the kind of thing we are about, lovely song. proud to have my name on it, i am.
SM : except, fuckwad, it's got all our fucking names on it you twat. why, for Christ's sake, didn't you save this one for your fucking glittering solo career?
NW : wanted to share it with my mates
SM : cheers for that
JDB : la la la la la la, done to your hair, la la la la la. champion, that.

Some Kind Of Nothingness

NW : best song i've ever written, fact. best fucking thing this band has ever done, people are shit for not buying the single.
SM : if we'd got Ian Broudie to do the duet it would have been something. at least people actually liked him the first time round, not like who we got, Mr Echo Rabbit Fucker.
JDB : half the time singing means double the time with pies. i can totally see me doing one of those duets albums next, perhaps even a triplets one really.
NW : but they weren't called Echo Rabbit Fucker, were they?
SM : might as well have been, would have sold more records.
