But I imagine he owns a few strats! Looks like he is using his EHX Pitchfork for the verses on Forever delayed but I've only watched on video on my phone.
I thought the guitar was just tuned up for 4ever Delayed. They used to play it capo 1st fret?

Nicky's red and blue basses, as mentioned earlier on this thread, are Fender Aerodyne. These are Japan-exclusive models, and Nicky has a gold/sand coloured one also. Sean confirmed to me on Twitter when they were last in Japan that he had bought Nicky one of them from Japan.

You see them up for sale fairly regular over here, although Nicky's are the more unusual colour options. The gold colour one probably the rarer of them, and the red configuration (P bass with an extra J pickup) is the more unusual configuration.

As per FD pictures on twitter the other day, it looks like James' big Gretsch is being used (same as the one in the Nynex video?) and the Fender Thinline Tele is on tour also.

Well unless I misunderstood Wire had done that one solo.

Right you both are. They look pretty cool! What a weird thing to have Japan only. They get all the best stuff

Yes that's right mate. It could well be the case that it's tuned up. I suppose I don't see why he'd do that over the capo still? I know on the studio take of international blue he used it to switch between standard and half a step up. I think there's a Guitarist mag feature coming soon? Anyway, think FD sounds really good on the strat and good to see a new gear thread!

At a guess - regular Fender, capo 2 and a spare for I don’t know what... There By the Grace of God?

The Mustang bass to the right might be the same as played by James formerly on Miss Europa so... Liverpool Revisited so Nicky can play guitar?

Interesting that there seems to be little strips on the 3rd, 5th, 7th frets! Surely that is not normal. I guess Nicky can't see this guitar neck in his shades!

Oh yeah, good spot

Maybe the Mustang is just a spare for the red, thinking back on it. Probably never used, basses don’t really fail like guitars do

Do we know if Nicky played the new blue bass for the whole show the other night?

Wonder how long he's been doing that...
