https://www.ebay.com/itm/JAPAN-2-CD-...UAAOSw0Lha1WgH

Just went and ordered this. There's just something irresistably cool about the idea of a Japanese (deluxe) version of specifically this album.

The flip side of the case with the titles in Japanese and english looks amazing.

And, I mean, if one thing has become absolutely clear to me in this past week, then it's this: Resistance Is Futile has one of my favourite album covers of all time. The expression on that samurai just digs deepar and deeper, and the colours are gorgeous. It truly adds to the album. Both the muted pastel textures of the album's instrumentation and it's emotional dismay are amplified.

Sort of like an inverse PFAYM that way. (The cover made PFAYM even worse)

Beautifully put Marat Sar!

Yep, think it's safe to say that Mirror Gaze is the stand out track from the 'also-rans'. Only thing I can see holding it back is that the 'beyond all this' phrasing sound a bit awkward, but musically it's one of the best tracks from this period so far for me.
It borrows heavily from some 70s rock. I've got 'Love isn't always on time' in my head but is there a more obvious riff being 'borrowed' on this one ?

Holding patterns is really sticking with me now. It's got a tinge of the holy bible to it, overpacking as many words as possible..
