I'd say there's a very good chance FTS will be played on this tour.
It's a pretty straightforward song to play too so Wire can't complain. |

My mistake! It's more FumdubbadubbaTISH! Has anyone else mistranscribed a drumming pattern from Sean?

James had made a pun about that 'Found That Seoul' thing before playing this song in Korea in 2012, but only a few people understood his joke. He seemed quite embarrassed about that.
The thing is, the city where the band believe to have played was not Seoul but its nearest city, Incheon. http://youtu.be/GwNBg4Ck6ZI Last edited by nayo; 15-02-2014 at 14:18. |

As an aside though, I was just getting properly into the band and the zine culture in 2001, and seem to remember everyone being slightly bored by the repeated use of FTS as an opener.

The scream at the end of the CD:UK thing is one of the best things I've ever seen on crappy morning TV. Certainly livened that morning up anyway
Some serious shapes from Jimmy as well...

Love the song, in my Top 5 MSP songs, and for me it's the perfect rock song in length and content.

I see I'm vastly outnumbered on this one. Try as the Manics may, I think they'll find I have no soul

Whenever I hear FTS it brings back brilliant memories of the Dublin gig, it was a very special night.

I love Nicky's little flourish on the bass right after James sings "with all the scum". Just thought that I'd share that!

Fixed that for you. I really don't think Nicky plays any bass on record at all.

With all due respect and all the love in the world mate, fuck off. I'm tired of this stupid joke. Nicky is a good musician and a very talented bass player. Sure, he can't sing for crap and he's a gobshite at the best of times but the way people continually put down his playing is just ludicrous.
