Just came across a post on another forum saying over 7,000 tickets have been sold for this gig so far (I trust the source, as that person does the PR/marketing for the arena and is on Twitter as the same username): http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpo...postcount=8685

Obviously nowhere near sold out, but still a respectable amount of tickets sold, especially considering the size of the other venues on the tour (the CIA excepted of course).

Looking forward to this, I'm seating with my two friends, first time seated for a Manics gig but it'll be a nice change especially as I'm trying to get over excessive jetlag from 48 hours of non stop travelling home. Hope to hear a new song

My tickets say doors 6pm, with a 7:30pm start. Arenas tend to open doors super early, seen as crowds/queues are larger than smaller venues.

Just seen this on Twitter too:

@FDArenaTony: Getting ready for Manics....

Exciting!

What is that high line of black beams? Is it chairs somehow folded up? I hope the venue is pretty packed and the venue has a good atmosphere.

I've never been, but judging from photos I've seen, depending on the event there is retractable seating that slopes down to the floor. It's missing in that photo, presumably to make the standing area bigger.

@FDArenaTony: Show times for tomorrow’s gig. (subject to change) @EAGULLSUK 20:00 - 20:40. @Manics 21:10 - 22:50.

Still amuses me that it's called the FD Arena

Anyone queuing yet?! Looking forward to seeing what the set list was when I get home from Suede tonight!

A few of the usual people are there already I believe, judging from Facebook updates. I'll be leaving my house shortly to get the train to Leeds (not queuing straight away though...food is much more important ).

I'll be on my train in about two hours, should get in to Leeds about 3pm.

SO FREAKING EXCITED RIGHT NOW.

Ahem.

I apologise in advance, but tonight I will probably be resuming my RTF-tour tradition of sprawling, excitable, relentlessly positive, Nicky-loving reviews in these threads.

It's ok. I'll be avoiding the forum until after the Cardiff gig, and if I recieve any setlist spoilers from anyone at the Cardiff gig, they'll be having a knuckle supper...
