You’ve all made excellent points about what solo album/record/projects mean to you and I’m glad I brought it up.

What dog songs do the Manics have?

Underdogs
Some Kind of Nothingness
Black Dog on my Shoulder
Damn Dog
Socialist Serenade

Any more obscure dog references?

I remember something from the time that the lovely labradors were the pop groups (e.g. Westlife) who were now dominating the charts?

Weren't 'Bonnie and Clyde' the two dogs in question ?

Someone reminded the other day of the great Wire bside Memory Bucket which has the line:

Memory Bucket, love your dogs
For they are in heaven with the gods

Really hope the album doesn't sink like a stone this week. I just checked sales rankings of the CD on Amazon and it was no.18 which is higher than a few days ago - I like stats and figures, I'm sad haha. Hopefully it can sell enough to keep in the top 30 maybe. Don't see it hanging around the top 100 for long though, even recent Manics albums disappear within 6/7 weeks sadly.

Have fans outside the UK received the album from the official webshop yet?

Do other fans outside the UK have problems receiving jdb new album bought from the official website?
My order has been sent on the 11th of August but still hasn’t arrived yet.... I live in Holland.

Really loving 'Verses Echo, With Tear Flow' - managed to snip the podcast so I can keep it in my music library. Hope a higher quality version is released one day, too good of a song to be hidden at the end of a podcast.

Marc
