Always loved Found That Soul...shame it's rarely performed live as it's much better than many of the singles that are setlist staples.

KYE is patchy but there's so much to enjoy that I would say it's a great album.

Best opening track ever and should be the law to open their gigs with it!

And who can forget Sean's drumming in this.
Drives and then flip flop fill. Drives and then flip flop fill. Drives and then hi hi hi-hat. Back to drives and then flip flop fill.
Makes you wish you could get the drumming tracks isolated.

So how would you interpret the drumming on this track?

I am not a drummer. I was just laughing at the use of flip flop fill. I know it is a term for drum fills but it sounded like Mr Tumble had written the reply. No offense. It made me chuckle.

It is a brilliant opener, but as Manics opening songs go, I'm still championing Elvis Impersonator as the best of the bunch.

Peeled Apples, Yes and Elvis... Are all awesome openers but they start slowly with talking or waves! Found That Soul just bursts to life straight away
1985 is quality but doesn't grab me as much immediately.
