Ha! I like Queen's music but I'm not really a Brian May fan, and I really don't want to see him play with my favourite band. Plus, Nicky's meant to be the ridiculous looking one, and Brian might upstage him.

I'm still expecting Ian and possibly Nina as the special guests, maybe a string quartet for some songs. Traci Lords would be a pleasant surprise.

I know what you mean and you are right in some respects. The point I was trying to make is that James was quite shy about the Queen thing until recently and obviously Nicky has referenced Freddie in a rant in the past. Brian tends to play with people like the Foo Fighters now and I just can't see Brian having the same mutual respect for the Manics but I might be totally wrong. I would love to see it happen though. JDB for lead singer of Queen, I say!

I don't know if this has been mentioned but someone told me that Echo and the Bunnymen are playing a gig in Liverpool on the same night as this gig so Ian McCulloch won't be a guest.

They could throw some humor into the show! Think about it...Patrick reads his poem from the start of Love's Sweet Exile, then Nicky walks out and shoves big brother offstage, and cue up the music!

Maybe they could take a leaf out of Mr. Bungle's book and open with a magician.
