Special Guests for the 02 Gig????
Ok so we know Nicky has said there will be glitter, glamour, video/films, big production, costume changes, an interval (so we can all get more Christmas drinks in) and joy and tears BUT who do you think will be the special guests?
Obvious guess would be Nina for YLA and Ian Mc for SKON but what about anyone else? Who is going to guest on LBN, surely they've got to try and get someone to sing Tracey Lords part? Could you imagine if they actually got Kylie like they originally wanted? Wouldn't it be brilliant if they had a guest drummer so that Sean could actually play the trumpet parts live for KC? That would be amazing. Do you think there will be any support?

No support for me, but if Nina turns up, she'll probably sing LBN as well.
Which would suck. Bad.

Wouldn't mind Kylie for a bit of eye candy and for the fact that she is a genuine big name but her one off performance on LBN in 1996 was absolute dogshite. Then again, Nina hasn't bathed herself in glory either with her live rendition of YLAINE.

I hope it's Michael Sheen. What could he contribute? I don't know, but I'd watch.

I actually have some inside info here. I can hereby announce that the special guests at the gig will be...
*drum roll* Sean Reed and Wayne Whatsisface!

Most likely Nina for Your Love Alone. The only other times I heard it done with other people was Cerys Matthews (ok) and Charlotte Church (*GAG*). Nina's the only choice!
Other ideas...I'm guessing Ian McCullough for SKON. Kylie for LBN would be AMAZING and Nicky would love it! I know she did it with them once before, but I never heard it, so I can't pass an opinion on it heh. Maybe Patrick will read his poem from the start of Love's Sweet Exile? |

Shit, I never thought of that. I'm hoping the answer is "none", because I'd like to hear the songs in their original arrangements. Although YSTSFMH might be alright acoustic (am I imagining things or was this done recently?) Maybe Australia or Autumnsong would be bearable acoustic?
I can just see it now though: LSE acoustic, so only James has to bother practicing it. And TBTGOG too. I hope I'm wrong!
