As fun as IOW was in 2004 (well apart from havign to watch Jet, URGH) don't think I'll be bothering. Rather spend my money elsewhere

I dont think so, but what they should've done is split like Pulp, Blur, Suede etc as that seems to be the best way to get a mainstage headline these days. Either that or be mind numbingly dull (Kings of Leon etc).

Besides, I'd rather be in an energetic crowd of 10,000 under cover watching them headline than standing in an "arms folded, mobile phone cameras out" crowd of 40,000!!!

Anything less than Glastonbury is a compromise. There is only one festival this country can do properly.

If anyone's going just for MSP, don't. Festival sets are really, really boring. But if this encourages you to go to a festival and it's the icing on your respective cake, then go ahead. There's nothing sadder than people who turn up for one band.
