New Art Riot and Repeat would top my list of early setlist standards i'm yet to see live, so here's hoping.

going to try to be good with this one and not read up on prior nights' sets.

I usually attend the first night of their tours because I went to the second Tigers date and ruined the surprise for myself by looking at the first night's setlist. Can't resist temptation.

Nicky in the NME:

"I'm trying to get James to do 'Bright Eyes' and 'Last Christmas' like he did at those Astorias, acoustically, but I don't know if he's that keen at the moment."

DO IT JIMBO.

It's all going to be a dream!

Lots of stuff I'd like to hear in the second set, but ultimately I'm getting the three Bible songs I've never heard live before. Anything else is a bonus, really.

Same. I would've been happy with just the album, but a second set, some Futurology, possible rare stuff... Amazing. Also I imagine it would be the same three left to hear.

It's not a song I listen to much, but the shambles on The Word was one of the first things I loved by them, and I imagine it'd be good live so I would love to hear that one. I think they only played it once after Richey's disappearance.

It would be nice to hear James' guitar solo take on the national anthem again after all this time.

Yep. Missed 4st 7lb by one date in 2005, and was only 9 when they last played the other two. It'll be great to tick those off the list, plus hear the full album in order.

Very much on the same page there, yeah. Though there's the nagging sense that all those great "ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED!" moments over the last ten years when I heard the other songs for the first time are about to be somewhat devalued

I guess I actually only have two . Which everyone who didn't see them in 1994 would have.

True, those were exciting moments. At least it's the album in full, the often-played and the rare stuff all in one.

I'm going to the second London gig with an old friend, my first Manics fan buddy from school. He's kind of a lapsed fan and only ever went to see them once, 13 years ago. His second Manics gig and he gets the full album and a second set. Jammy sod.
