Please film a gig for a live DVD!!!

I really hope the band record a show on this upcoming tour. I love watching my other Manics DVDs but they've released a lot of material since they came out and a new live DVD is well overdue, especially with this being their 10th album, be a good time to document a live gig I believe.

Would be good, but I'd like it to be of an "event" like Cuba or Millenium Stadium, rather than just another tour gig. Live from Southend wouldn't be so epic.

I'd like them to do a one off gig in Wales, maybe the Millenium Centre with an orchestra or at least some strings to suit the lavish all seater surroundings, or Cardiff Castle.

I think it's about time there was a live DVD. Needn't be anything special, but it would be good to have something. Ten albums and all that...

Brilliant idea and I'd just settle for a new live dvd; there is going to be a documentary though, channel 4 I think but not sure when. A mate told me.

I was hoping they'd do a live DVD to go with the JFPL tour as I don't think may of these songs will e getting the live treatment any more (apart from JCEQT).

I'm 100% on board with this idea, have said it before, like many others on here. We are well overdue a live DVD. I feel that us Manics fans get a pretty bum deal with DVDs. A proper live DVD would be far superior to this rediculously overpriced 'limited edition' box set con that they've got going on.

I'd love it if they filmed one of the gigs I'm going to, so long as they don't film me... We're due a live dvd. 3 dvd/videos in 4 years, and now... nothing in 9. What's goin on?

They should do a gig in a theatre with a massive orchestra and alter some of the arrangements. Imagine This is Yesterday with a lovely violin part accompanying James or You Love Us with some well-placed trumpets.

Not bothered about DVD's usually get watched once or twice then never to be seen again, whereas an album gets played over and over
