Could also send a little 'A donation was made in the name of Lifeblood' card to the Manics. Funnily enough, there's a charity called Lifeblood which helps raise awareness of thrombosis.

We should then send all the CDs to Nicky c/o Hall or Nothing with personalised messages of support for the album.

What we should do is all buy a copy and then post it to the Manics with a message like 'We love this album!' written on it. I'd expect mine to be returned once they'd finished with it though!

going to try and start that facebook thing now - can anyone post that advert for the album here, please? the one with all the great reviews? i can't seem to find which thread it was in.

thanks in advance.

btw, great ideas as to what to do with the presumably extra CD of the album some of you will have. might post mine back to them with a note saying "even down here we can hear how good it is"!

I just want to see a music site headline of "Manic Street preachers harrassed using their own album" tbh.

well, that would be the jist of the whole campaign, really, if "campaign" is the right idea. i know quite a few cannot stand the album, but quite a few of us love it and are tired of the band bad mouthing it. getting it to chart again - no matter how low or brief - strikes me as a good way to, as it were, strike back.
