Some of the electric guitars sound like they're recorded on the crappy amp he uses for B-sides. The bassline sounds very Manics-y too, so wouldn't be surprised if James did that.

Wholeheartedly seconded! Of all German artists out there, he has to pick this sanctimonious tw- erp. I blame Alex Silva, though, who's introduced the two. That being said, I can't pass judgement on the actual song, as Grφnemeyer's voice annoyed me too much to listen to more than 40 secs of it. Is there an instrumental mix?
