Whataburger eh? If only I were as lucky . The ones around my place play nothing but the top-40 shite. I probably would've gone mental myself if I heard The Everlasting playing. The only thing even remotely close to amazing I've heard played at a Whataburger was one time during a late night burger run with my friends when they were playing Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead. Though it definitely would've been more amazing if they played anything by the Manics.

I heard The Everlasting at a Publix (grocery store) in Orlando in 2007, Empty Souls at a P.F. Chang's in Orlando in 2006, and Empty Souls in a Best Buy in Maryland in early 2005.

Everlasting is on a lot of in-store music loops, I've heard it in Ikea and in Lowe's. Not an edit either, I'm pretty sure it's the full thing.

Ha ha, I was 9, I wouldn't have understood any of it anyway. And my mom would have seen Richey all digging into his own skin and would have confiscated all their records.

He really is! I swear, that guy has forgotten more about rock 'n' roll than I will ever know.

I heard "The Everlasting" at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Hah, what is it with that song.

"Tsunami" used as background music for a (non-Manics related) contest announcement on WXRP radio. LOL WUT.

I'm travelling to the States with two guys, in an RV, for nearly four months beginning in two days. We're travelling pretty much all over, and if I hear a single Manics song played anywhere I will buy everyone on this forum a pint.

Feel like Cardiff was the last time you were properly on here, meeting the freaks face to face must have scared you off.

Noooo, I hung around a little while on here after that! I just got a new flat and flatmates and ended up just hitting the pub any spare moment we had.
I loved meeting you guys and would love to again (if you'll let me). I'll be at a meet-up when I'm back

Unless anyone fancied a US meetup....
