I could see Live And Learn fitting with PFAYM style Manics actually, but I don't think they could improve the original it'd just sound a bit louder I suspect.

Wu Tang Clan-Bring the Ruckus

I want to hear Sean Moore tell us how he's going to "rip it hardcore, like porno-flick bitches"

Any indie-rock song they do will just sound like the original with more power chords-pointless.

The Foggy Eyes cover is a travesty.

I've said this before years ago in a similar thread but I'd love to hear a loud and dirty cover of Taxi Driver (Hanoi Rocks) with Nicky on vocals.

I Am A Wallet is already perfect. I don't need to hear the Manics or anyone else cover it.

I haven't been on here for a while, busy with Comedy and Motorsport stuff, but I have had a nice thought for a topic since not much is going on with MSP.

The boys have in the past performed and musically recreated many great songs, such as;

- M.A.S.H
- Rock 'n' Roll Music
- Foggy Eyes

etc... just to name a few.

What cover/s would you like to see them do?

Here are my shouts.

- Mamas & the Papas - California Dreamin'
- Beatles - I've Gotta Feeling
- Paul McCartney - Jet
- Animals - House of the Rising Sun (Animals version, which was a reworked version in the first place.)
- Status Quo - Pictures of Matchstickmen (really biased, as I love Quo, better band to watch live than the Manics).
God, I love Pictures of Matchstick Men.

I'll stick with my original choices that I always bring up when this is asked:
-Oh Candy or Elo Kiddies by Cheap Trick.
-Something by Badfinger, preferably No Matter What.

There was a simmilar topic before, but let's think again....

Sooooo..... A few songs by Strummer and Mescaleros, such as Ramshacle Day Parade, Long Shadow, Arms Aloft, Burning Streets etc. (yeah, Streetcore stuff)

So next is......
Maybe Forever Young by Alphaville....?

The folk song What Shall We Do with the Drunken Sailor would be cute too performed by the Manics.

And maybe a couple of songs by The Drones, like Bone Idol and Can't See.

I might finish with Boys Don't Cry by The Cure. And The Catterpillar.

A Badfinger cover would indeed be ace!

Hahaha Sean getting all ghetto! get ready bitchez, moore iz here!
And I agree with you with the 2nd one.

I think, and don't kill me now pls I'm still young, that maybe they should do something really unexpected, like they surprised us with Umbrella. I'm not saying Wiz Khalifa, but you know, something very, very different that would require a bit more imagination and creativity when it comes to adapting it to Manics style. Plus, if they cover something more current it might bring them some new fans, who knows?!

Probably really cliche, but I'd like to see what the Manics could do to a Beatles song. I'm thinking Helter Skelter or I Want You (She's So Heavy).
