Covers you would like to see the boys do...

Hello Ladies and Gents, Boys and Girls, Chaps and Chapesses; it is Dext37 - i'm here, even after a motorbike crash and three days in hospital just before Xmas.

I haven't been on here for a while, busy with Comedy and Motorsport stuff, but I have had a nice thought for a topic since not much is going on with MSP.

The boys have in the past performed and musically recreated many great songs, such as;

- M.A.S.H
- Rock 'n' Roll Music
- Foggy Eyes

etc... just to name a few.

What cover/s would you like to see them do?

Here are my shouts.

- Mamas & the Papas - California Dreamin'
- Beatles - I've Gotta Feeling
- Paul McCartney - Jet
- Animals - House of the Rising Sun (Animals version, which was a reworked version in the first place.)
- Status Quo - Pictures of Matchstickmen (really biased, as I love Quo, better band to watch live than the Manics).

To stay on topic: Let Me In/You by R.E.M.
Although that may be slightly too devastating if sung by the boys.

Seconded. This is the most realistic suggestion too as Nicky has tweeted before they'd like to do more.

think I read somewhere James or Nicky's love of it so I'd really like to hear them do The Cardigans 'You're The Storm' or 'I Need Some Fine Wine and You Need To Be Nicer'

'Alcoholiday' by Teenage Fanclub

far as The Cardigans go, i wouldn't want them to touch 'you're the storm', as it's one of my favourites - but i've always thought 'a good horse' was right up their street.

personally, i'd like to hear them do The Clash, 'i'm so bored of the usa'. preferably whilst on tour in the US, or playing on a festival bill populated by American bands.

Godspell, I'd say. Always thought James' vocals would go great with that, especially if he really revs it up.

On a serious note, i'd like to hear what they would do with 'My Favourite Dress' by The Wedding Present as they said years ago they'd give it a try.

I would make love to that CD (as in with the CD, not making love with someone while it was playing, that would be inappropriate)

An MP speaks could be SO vitriolic in James's hands.
