I already knew Echo and the Bunnymen but I consider them as being introduced by the Manics.
Also Hanoi Rocks.

I always remember years and yearsago Bradders was on some music channel and was introducing some videos and he mentioned PJ Harvey's This Is Love I think it was and he said it was great and she was good looking. Anyway I got into PJ Harvey from that although I'm not a massive fan I do have a few albums and a live DVD.

Mansun.
Their early work is often related to Manics, and I always wanted to check them out but never did... until three months ago. Boy am I glad I did it! I enjoy Manics very much! |

Indeed they are!
I love 80's glam, sleaze and stuff like that, so I was quite happy to see they liked a band like Hanoi Rocks.

Guess I read the title of the thread to quick... I thought it was about what bands introduced you to the Manics... My mistake.

Thought I should come to terms with the support. So the Manics have recently introduced me to British Sea Power. I'm now struggling to decide who I'm more looking forward to seeing.
