The one thing about Massey that made him 'uncool' was when I saw him wearing Jesus sandals at James solo gig in London

The Barfly gig? I was standing next to him without realising and only found out after the gig. Didn't realise you were there too! (unless you're talking about the other gigs)

He tried pulling that on me as well! He was being quite defensive because of how Richey fans were towards him, can't blame him really. I managed to have a nice long chat with him. Told me Paul McCartney was a wanker, which was nice and honest!

To be fair, Adam was done up in a sailor suit and eyeliner...what was funny about it was it was obviously him as we were sat in the pub at the next table to the manics crew.

I think it was the London gig after that, was it at a Uni??

Oh yeah, that was the one off gig they did between the first set of dates and the main tour. UCL I think - there was a live version of the first single that was released on the AEG single, or something like that which was recorded there.
