Presumably for insurance reasons, promoters have to wait for the venue to cancel the event.

Glad to know the score finally. Really, really hope they can go ahead in July. I'm sad to lose my Manics Cardiff Christmas adventure but a summer one will be just as amazing. Steep increase in hotel prices though - £150 more for the same hotel! Ouch.

Without wishing to be too pessimistic, it may be worth waiting til closer to the time to sell them, as it's not impossible that the gigs will be postponed again! And if they do go ahead in July, there will definitely be fans wanting last minute tickets then.

Who knows, they might actually schedule some more gigs around the country/continent/world. There's always the festivals that got cancelled too.

I had no joy booking a hotel in Cardiff. The last train to Bristol from Cardiff is 22:48 which is easily missable. Looks like it'll be car hire for me at Bristol Airport.

What is going on that is making the accom prices so high?! Is it simply the summer season, or a sport event?!

Did anyone else get a reminder on their phone today?! I wonder what the chances of the next date actually happening are...

Chances of this going ahead are looking better after yesterday's announcement! Crossing all fingers and toes etc etc.

Yeah I thought social distancing would still be a thing so a packed in standing gig didn't sound feasible but they've said "full crowds" from 21st June soooo.....

Got a ticket for this, but hard to know how I feel about a sold out indoor gig such a short time after restrictions lift...

Exactly. We'll have to look at the figures nearer the time.
