TIMTMY CD help.

I found a CD of TIMTTMY in a charity shop, and the printing on the CD is different to any others I've seen, I'm wondering if it's a promo, or foraign copy. Does anyone know of a decent manics discography site that has pics of CD's? theloveof seems to no longer work. If not, any one any knowledge about different printing on the TIMTTME CD.

(sorry, this is such a boring anoraky question!!)

there's a thread on here somewhere called "show your collection", search and browse, perhaps someone has it?

from what i recall at the time there were a couple of versions - one was with the band name & TIMTTMY embossed on the CD box rather than the cover, i assume a more standard print was also available?

any chance of putting a pic up or giving a description?

There's three TIMT versions from memory, with different cat numbers....similar in most respects. Do you have a pic?

How is it different?

If it has the embossed cd cover and a 40-page book then it's the limited copy, if it just has pics of the beach on the inside it is the standard copy,
If it is in a normal case but has the 40 page book inside then it's been put in the worng case lol!

If it has no writing at all it's because it was in an embossed case and was put into a blank case instead.

thanks all! I'll try to take a photo, it's not the embossed on, I'm pretty sure, the cover's just a photocapoied thing, so I thought it was like a copied CD, but then the CD has printing on it, I'll try to take a photo!!

blimey! it's the first place I find out my favourite Manics-related site doesn't work!! How come? I want theloveof BACK!!

like Takk said there are many various versions of TIMT. I have one 40pages with TIMT written in white but there are some with written in silver. taking a pic would be very helpful x

Hmm, it seems to be a bit temperamental. It is still up though, just not working very well.

Stick your picture on a website like this one:

http://tinypic.com/

Then copy the link it gives you for forums (they'll have [img] tags around the link) then copy and paste it into your post.

looks promo / bootleggy-ish, could just be a non-UK issue.

i would be sure you have looked, but it's worth asking anyway - is there no hint of where the disc was pressed on the disc or in the booklet? have a look on the inner circle of the playing side, often that's where they press where it was manufactured.
