This album is turning into Manics And Friends. Not that I'm complaining (which makes a change these days). They just need to rope in Kylie now.

Oooh interesting! I once saw Ian McCulloch bollocksed off his face stretched across a sofa in the Tea Factory in Liverpool, still managed a half decent convo with my friends. Cant imagine what he and Bradders will sound like togther (please no Nicky vocal, please no Nicky vocal...)

Someone said this news had already been announced?? Where? This thread is just too long unless you're a die-hard FDer.

Ian McCulloch, cool He's got a great voice. It's cool there's a few names appearing on the album as guests, first Duff (although has this officially been confirmed?), and now McCulloch and Cale.

Is it me or does anyone else think that having more then one guests on an album are generally lame ?
Sorry to be so negative on this album, but it sounds like an over the top send away tigers. On a lighter note, guest appearances do generally sell quite well in the singles chart. |

I would have detested YLAINE as much as the rest of SATT without Nina, so the more guests the merrier for me. It's one way of differentiating a new Manics track from the last one!

Very good point, i think this album needs to avoid an average rating from the reviews etc for me it needs to be massive or just out of hand rejected by the press, I like extremes, because there nothing worst them an average album that just fades away within a couple of weeks, at least if it gets bad press, it will get talked about, which could develop a cult following for the album it self.

Never known the Manics to produce an album that fades away after a couple of weeks!

No, it's because I'm still playing them 10 years later!
