I love this song, I love this band. I wonder what it's going to be like to listen to this song for those with the most basic knowledge of MSP?

Newbies may think of them as a "happy" band... anyone over the age of 30 that hasn't been living under a rock for the last 20 years should already know them, though!!!!!

Haha & there we were thinking the chorus was a mess on the original! This is surely proof that JDB was right to have an acoustic guitar working underneath the horns???

Not a fan of this song. It's the definition of lame adult contemporary. It's not even a good song. At least Lifeblood had a bit of substance to it. Still looking forward to hearing the rest.

Hey, maybe he meant European as in Swedish death metal. Now that would be friggin awesome! Ha!

Just did the same. Think it works really, really well actually! Nice contrast in tone, and the end of SMTW and the start of RTF seem to mesh well. Think I'm now a bit keener of SMTW as a result, so it was worth doing!

When I read 'European' on the next album I think of something like Einstürzende Neubauten. Not techno crap.

Rumour on the street has it that they've sampled this for the first single from "Futurology"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RneoccuJwY

It's very "European", gotta say it's a very brave move!

Wasn't blown away by it on the first listen. Maybe it will grow on me. Bit too much trumpet for me. Prefer a more guitar based sound from the boys. Good on um though for trying something different.
