it was slovenia, donīt think they are (very) popular here in slovakia

i know, i read your blog about manics, his comment was really stupid and i was like wtf, he must be joking (but i know there are some people who think the same as he does and they are from another countries)

Me neither. Anyway when I wrote about Manics on my blog some Slovak guy responded that he loved them too. But he also wrote that he was curious if the statement (!) that JFPL lyrics had been written by Richey was only done to attract fans. Which means he's probably an idiot.

Meanwhile, in the illegal download charts, Postcards currently has some 3185 seeds and 352 people currently downloading it, while the Script have 8756 seeds and 2410 people currently downloading. Numbers taken from the 5 big BT trackers (numbers drop sharply when we look at the 6th biggest trackers, like to a third or more) as listed by ScrapeTorrent, if anyone's interested.

I hope the next single ignites some interest. If not, this album's going to sink to oblivion very soon.

What does that mean by 3185 "seeds"? I have no idea.
I agree with you though sadly, the album is going to sink to nothingness within a month.

Basically, with BitTorrent peer-to-peer sharing, a seed is someone who's fully downloaded something, and has it available to be downloaded by anyone else who wants it. It's not a super-meaningful number because there are loads of variables between the number of seeds and the number of actual downloads, but it is a handy way of comparing the popularity of two similar torrents.

Although, nzbmatrix.com does list exact download figures from just its own servers. It reports 953 downloads of the Script, against just 371 of Postcards, which keeps in with the trend of serious disappointment. It's a shame, I had such high hopes four weeks ago.

No, they're the opposite. Seeds are the people who have the full torrent and are uploading it, leeches are the people who are still downloading it.
