Golden Platitudes seemed to fall flat on the crowd at Southampton, I certainly found it one of the low points of the night. A shame given that it now seems to have become the forth staple track.

How has it gone down at other shows?

I think it's quite an epic albeit rather sad song, I'm glad it stayed, but I insist that Balconies would've been brilliant live...

Just got back from Newport.

What was the name of the first support band? They weren't great or anything, but it kinda amused me when the singer dedicated a song to Ari Up, and like two people cheered. And the lead singer was pretty. Yes, I am a shallow human being.

British Sea Power did NOTHING for me I'm afraid...

As has already been remarked upon, no surprises on the Newport setlist, but still a great gig, as ever.

just got in, much fun, band great but a few of the people around me spoilt it for me, deathly still one side & sweating all over me the other. no healthy balance really.

wire and jdb seemed in good spirits, lots of smiles & interaction. shame no home turf set treats tho, still got 2 more chances for rarities.
spotted a few FD-ers too but didn't get chance to speak to anyone.

Weird that there was no change in setlist for their only Welsh gig, me and Sculpture were afraid we'd be missing PCP or summat, sounds good anyway, hope all enjoyed it.

Not weird really. Would have been surprised if it was much different. Welsh gigs may have a better atmosphere but there's no real reason to expect rare songs.

I thought it might have been the time to play a new album track or something new from the back catalogue. Ah well, sounds good anyways.

Good gig but sorry the setlist is just DULL now. Even though I hadn't heard Small Black Flowers and NSAF or electric LTD this tour they've still been playing them for the last decade all the time, it's pretty pathetic really. For the love of God just jig it about a bit. Even if I'd only gone to one date I'd be dissapointed in that set. And please stop slagging off Lifeblood James, it's better than nearly all of your current album which you'll be dismissing in a few months too, you're just as embarrassed to play songs off it it seems.

You Stole The Sun, Tsunami, and Suicide Is Painless just really need to go now.
