Theres a beach in front of the venue. very small beach though! Theres a great rossi ice cafe near by. everything is on the cliffs. If you looking for a beach you have to go down the road about 5 miles.

Southend hasnt sold out so i dont think you have to que up too early. I'll be there between 6 and 7.

Are we all gonna have a meet up?

ditto the comment about rossi's when will you be allowed into the venue and when do BSP go on? (soz bout the questions, this will be my first ever gig)

The cliffs normally open ay 7. dunno bout BSP.

Doors 7pm, BSP 8 til 8:30pm, Manics 9:10 til just before 11pm.

That one is literally 5 mins walk from the venue too, although I've never actually been there myself for some reason!

Think I'll be getting there for about 6-6.30ish.

Nobody on here knows me, but I'm the short girl with the purple-ish hair who will probably be hyperventilating due to the sheer excitement of the Manics playing in my town ... so if you see me, say 'Hi'! Can't wait!

Nobody on here knows me either! I'll be the tall bird, I might wear my forever delayed T shirt, it may get a whizz under the sewing machine first though, to make it a nicer fit!

I haven't got as far as deciding what I'm wearing yet, but it'll probably be a pink Clash t-shirt unless I get a wave of enthusiasm and make a spraypainted t-shirt, old-skool stylee!

Looks like the doors open at 7.30pm so I'm thinking queueing from 6ish will allow for a fairly reasonable position near the front? I need to make new friends to do 'Shouty Pointy' with because the people I'm going with aren't massive fans and are probably going to be a bit scared of me by the time the gig has finished!
