I think absolutely everyone who was at Brixton early was well aware of the O2 thing and had prepared accordingly - there was next to no-one in the non-O2 queue when doors opened.

Flights bokked for Mad-as-burnt-toast and me this evening. Just to sort tickets out tomorrow and try not to fall foul of the companys internet useage policy

Anyone know the difference in the ticket prices? I take it the £22.50 are up in the arms of the gods.

Yeah but the one time I did it at Brixton, we got the phone out ready to show and then nobody checked it. Buut I don't know if they're always that easygoing!

I would say they would be right up the back, maybe the £32.50 would be the standing and the nearer seats. They are very cheap for the 02, they obviously realise they have to keep them cheap for them to sell a decent amount.

Well i'm looking forward to this, hopefully they will mix it up a bit so we don't get all of the EMG/TIMT singles that they always play in one go. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do Loves Sweet Exile, last time it was played around 94 they funked it up and it sounded more like Miss Europa Disco Dancer!

Also will be great to hear the lost classics So Why So Sad, There By the Grace of God and The Love of Richard Nixon.

Unless I completely missed it, I don't think they even used an O2 Priority queue at the O2 Arena when I saw Lady Gaga there last year. They just let everyone in at the same time, so I guess it depends on the event.

Some O2 venues operate the Priority queue and some don't. At Sheffield Academy last year on the Manics tour, they let both queues in at the same time, but by the end of the tour everyone had got wise and bought O2 sim cards anyway. I also saw Brandon Flowers at Leeds Academy and the Priority queue wasn't used at all, so I think it really does vary.

I don't think it would be easy to bring back quickly....it would require them learning it again...sean read and wayne have never played it (i think?) and the band wouldn't have played it for six years...it's not like they could just drop it in...i reckon the lifeblood stuff probably needs backing tracks and other stuff sorted too.

With 02 at Brixton they were allowing +2's to every customer so it's pretty easy to find an 02 user in the queue who is nice enough to have you as a plus if they're running the same thing.

I have about 5 free 02 sim cards if anyone really wants one. They gave them out like candy last time I was at the 02, I just use them for this type of thing!
