So, is there a meet up and where are people staying. I'm in a b&b a few miles out up a big hill inbetween watsville and blackwood. near the church yard where the boys were filmed for their close up doc. Stayed there before.

Don't quote me but you may be able to watch (or at least listen) online through the BBC2 site if you are so inclined. I plan on giving it a go as I am in serious Manic withdrawals after the Oz shows.

In light of tonight's Hard Rock Cafe gig being cancelled, I am wondering if this will now go ahead, especially after Birmingham originally being on a Tuesday then this got cancelled and the Brixton re-scheduled gigs were originally on a Thursday and Friday.

Just hope that its not as bad as last time, and this is just a precaution because he didn't want to cancel Blackwood.

I think they really don't want to cancel Blackwood, it's more than just a gig to them.

And I don't want them to cancel Brum again!

Exactly, there's too much prestiege surrounding the Blackwood gig.

Radio 2 in Concert: Manic Street Preachers - Thursday 2 December

Unfortunately due to an illness in the band the Manic Street Preachers show on Thursday 2 December at Blackwood Miners Institute in Wales is cancelled.

Radio 2 is hoping to reinstate this show in January and we will contact you for first refusal when we have the new date.

We apologise for the inconvenience and are currently negotiating a new date with the band, and you will be contacted as soon as possible.

Regards

BBC Studio Audiences
