I hate to be the Grinch here, but dear children! This is the MANIC STREET PREACHERS announcing we will get "songs from Futurology" and "curios" along "a handful" of hits. In English this means
Design
Tolerate
YSTS
YLAINE
It's not war
Show me the wonder FUCK KNOWS WHY
PLUS
WMTTB
Europa
Futurology MAYBE sometimes replaced by LGTW, but surely NOT when I'm there
PLUS
Bradders acoustic songs that Wire couldn't be arsed to learn and My Little Empire as curios. Youknowsit! That is the band we all know and love! If I get anything on top of that, I'll sacrifice a bottle of vodka at Avebury at midwinter solstice to whatever deities I don't believe in, but I get THB, so if I get my exact prediction for the second set (or less than that), frankly I won't complain about the icing on the cake.

I know it's not a curio, but I'd like to see Motown Junk make a comeback.

Hoping for a Journal song other than Jackie Collins Existential Question Time and a b-side I haven't heard live before. Removables would also make an interesting addition.

Surely time for a reprieve for Repeat. Coming on to that in the second set ...

Have been listening alot to Know Your Enemy, any couple from Dead Martyrs, Epicentre, Baby Elian or Freedom Of Speech....... would suit me, any change from the normal would suit me, excluding ME and DFL.

Starting to look foward to 3 good nights in Dublin, yes fucking please!

Do we know if both sets are them as a three piece or just the holy bible one? Would be strange hearing the likes of Design for Life, Tolerate, etc without the additional bits played on keyboard.

They've used backing tracks before for three piece gigs, as well as for normal gigs, so think that's pretty likely.

They use backing tracks when there's five of them, they'll definitely be using them as a three piece.

Reasonable chance the backing musicians will come on for the second set. What happened at JFPL?

And I bet still you get people who fuck off after the first set! More space for the rest of us then!
Personally I'd love a set based on their last two albums, but it'll be interesting to see what they pick for the second set.
I remember this forum being excited at some of the choices from the start of the Futurology tour (And I'd even pay to see that album in full) so I reckon, given the ultimate selling point is THB live, then they can play Engage With Your Shadow (I abbreviate their song titles, but Engage With Your Shadow is such a massive work of art it needs it's title typed in full) over and over until ADFL!

I still think we'll hear FTS rather than TMATC, myself! That wouldn't make the second set as predictable as it could be!

That may as well be written on the setlist as "PISS BREAK"
