I just noticed a link on that page to another article.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010...d-10m-split-up Hey, does anyone want to help start a similar endeavour? |

It's ok, nothing special. Do they really need to keep making videos? They don't seem to want to...although I liked the last one.

It's Not War's video was okay to me, it was boring and didn't suit the song at all, not to mention a waste of two great actors, but it at least seemed they put in effort for the concept and such. This video is just "I have two cameras, the budget we have amounts to £20, and we are tired."

Pretty poor sadly. It's out of sync too badly, stupid Gardian website, audio is bad also.
They look so bored. The video for the song should have been really grand and big and lush, it's just.....lifeless and pointless and it'll probably get less TV time than INW did. Ah well, could be worse. I liked seeing them both meet although I wanted something to happen.....I think the best shot in the video is near the end where there's a long shot of James walking far away on the beach and it's all very bluey/grey and the songs going "all alone forever...." that looked and fitted well for me. May as well have just released their performance on Jools Holland as the official video, that had the full band in and the choir Overall it's OK but it's just too dull sadly.

another Autumnsong vid
on the other hand I love that PFAYM home video from the site, it's funny, maybe a bit naive in a way of making, like it was made by completely unprofessional young band who's putting it on YT (of course better done than Purple Rain for that example), but it was nice and fresh and I hoped that would be the direction and not the video for geriatics...

Not a favourite video, but the loneliness is there for sure. James looks so abandoned! Love the meeting though.

Doesn't do the song justice. Some nice tourist shots, and good shots of James and Ian, but.... could have been a glorious video.

Nice. Good to see Sony spending a bit more money on this video, too. I'd estimate a budget of £50 to £60 for this one, possibly as much as £75 if they needed to buy a tripod and a new set of batteries for the camera.

James looks ill.
I was hoping they'd do something totally over-the-top, with the band on a stage with loads of decoration and a big arsed gospel choir behind them and streamers going off, glitter falling down on the stage....you know, just something ridiculously opulent. Instead we have two guys walking about.
