I think we should see the version of LSE where Richey licks margarine off someone's thighs.

I don't suppose for one minute there is any chance of a couple of gigs to support this release, for purely selfish reasons as i would like to see them just one more time before i move to Oz and never get to see them again

Got me all excited we had a tracklisting and cover then...

Well ok, we know 99% of what the tracklisting will be, just need it in writing. In the Manics military font they are so fond of.

I reckon the artwork should be one of the polaroids to tie in with the book release

Not badly priced for a collection of all the singles, but that probably points to the fact that there will be no bonus tracks. So with that in mind...i'm out.

National treasures
Historical measures
Mundane pleasures

There you go, just needs a verse now.

I'd copyright that quick before Nicky steals it!

Except that we know from the Twitter feed they've recorded at least two or three tracks that haven't seen the light of day yet - 'A Perfect Place To Grow', and a couple of others I can't remember the titles of. Maybe some of those could crop up as b-sides. But I definitely was that The The cover

Just got an email about it

To celebrate the 21st anniversary of their first single release, MANIC STREET PREACHERS are releasing the ultimate singles collection in October. NATIONAL TREASURES – THE COMPLETE SINGLES gathers 38 songs from the band's rich history, starting with initial Heavenly Records release Motown Junk (1990) to tracks taken from last year's Postcards From A Young Man album – the band's tenth which was greeted with universal critical acclaim. The album also features a brand new single and will be released in several formats, details to follow.

"Universal critical acclaim"?

That's over-egging the pudding a bit surely? They could have just gone with "well received".

Why is the Deluxe Edition cheaper on Amazon than the normal version?
