Lauren Laverne seems to be a Manics fan.
The Horrors are, I assume.

Oh and the Manic's biggest famous fan is probably Nicky Wire.

Didn't Kenickie support them at one point?

If Paul Morely is famous enough to be included he seemed to be pretty fawning in an interview a read a while ago.

Yes Mr. Lydon was indeed a fan ( might still be) but more important than that the last time I sadly talked to Joe Strummer ( oct 1999, leeds, ) he said he was very much a fan, he especially liked THB, he also said he didn`t like the Gallagher brothers which I found so amusing given the way he said it. Three years ago after the Nottingham R.City gig I asked James if he ever met Joe, he replied " I was in a room with him once with a few other people but I just froze and didn`t speak to him" you could tell he regreted not talking to him, he never got to see him again.

He also said that he wouldn't hold a grudge about the Nicky thing because it was all a bit 'dumb' and he didn't know who they were at the time anyway! (This is all from my memory so apologies if I haven't put that quite correctly!)

Aaaaaaaw! What a great shame! Glad Joe liked them though, bless him!

I think I remember reading on here somewhere that Scott Carson (West Brom and former England 'keeper) likes them. Not sure though...

Yep I remember that, it was in Q magazine and both the Manics and REM were at some sort of Q awards ceremony, Nicky was reminded about the remark too and said he was hugely embarrassed about it as REM were one of his favourite bands. I remember the Welsh bloke out of EastEnders being a huge fan too, he seemed to mention it in every interview.

Mark & Lard always seemed to be pretty big Manics fans. They have great taste.

The bassist from Bloc Party.

And I once read that someone got Ronan Keating a copy of the Holy Bible for Christmas and he really liked She Is Suffering.
