Blasphemy! (okay, maybe I just enjoyed it more because the songs started being familiar and I was closer to the stage)

I'm a push-over, apparently! They were so geeky and twee and unfashionable and the music is quite hypnotic. Not sure how it works without the visual element, though.

Thanks to hummingbird, marwood, sandrine, Cristina, rockjunkie, Paul, Sam and Lindz for queue chat and being so friendly. Also Khizar and Sim for after gig banter.

Also thanks to others, but I don't think they're on here, so I'll thank them elsewhere.

Marwood, have a good rest of the tour! Hummingbird, enjoy Manchester. Well jealous

You're addicted to the barrier know aren't you!

You need to be there just in case James falls off and you can then catch him and tend to his wounds!

Just remembered, also hi to Sculpture of a Bloke, Nasal Scarecrow, Natures Discontent and Refresher!

I've bloody adored PSB so far, I think they're brilliant, and they seem to get a really warm reception from the crowd

i won't get to the barrier and i'll probably be on nicky's side. My poor James will wonder where i am!

barrier tip - I never stand right up against it. I sort of put one foot slightly infront of the other and bend a knee against the barrier..so when i feel i'm getting pushed forward i kind of lean back a tiny bit. Probably makes no sense at all but it's saved my ribs

To be fair, there's a good chance that most people anyone's likely to talk to are only there for the Manics, and most often won't give support bands a chance.

Sad not to meet my fellow Queen fan Hummingbird even though we were both standing by the stage door! Also tried looking for bachelorette in the seating area with no luck Lots of pushing when the band came out. What was that all about?!?!?!?
Robinson, dear boy!

Good to see you once again mate. Turns out I could have stayed a little longer, I was given incorrect information about bus times

Accidentally ran into Rich (Sculptureofabloke) & Alex (Nasal Scarecrow) and took them on a mini pub crawl before the gig.

Always enjoy the Manics, although I'm not endeared with Wayne Murray's contributions. But I'll leave it at that.

True to my word, I got drunk and don't remember getting into bed. However, I do remember paying £4 for a pint in the venue
