I was just talking to mILAN and she came up with a great idea! A SCANDINAVIAN MEET UP! Yes.. people from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, all meeting up somewhere! That would be so cool, don't you think so? 'cos I'm REALLY sick of not being around any meet ups, and I think I could be really cool!
Tell me what you think!:)

I think it is a wonderful idea. I will do everything I can to meet up with you guys, but I have a very busy schedule this autumn.
Doesn't really matter where, because if I have the time I will also be able to drive to wherever it is, as long as it isn't Finland (sorry about that!) :)

I want to be able to travel abroad a little more, see, having got the taste for it (and done it first time) last year. And you can all confuse me by not speaking English ;) As long as you tell me what "fat cow with pink hair" means in your respective languages so I know when you're referring to me ;)

As far am I'm concerned, everyone's welcome! The idea was just to have it in a Scandinavian country, but that doesn't mean we all have to be Danish or Swedish or whatever....
And Michelle, we ARE having a meet up too at your place and I AM coming if it means I have to kill my boss with my own hands!!

is that the place where they buried all the kings, because in that case I think I've been there. (Maria blames her parents for dragging her across Denmark (depending on what you want you can add England/Sweden/Germany as well) to see "interesting" churches.
I have an apartment in Stockholm. though it's extremely small, but I can atleast squeeze in 3 people, and that'lll be fine, and if you want to sleep like inside my front door, or under my kitchen table I can fit even more people in.
but ihhh!!! it would bew great, let's have it there... it's a student apartment thing so there's another big room that we can hire for free... :)
and of course everybody can come.

23-24 sounds fine to me. 16-17 is OK, but 23-24 would be better.
Amanda, it would be great if you could come. :) Don´t worry about the languages - you´ll get along with English in Sweden just fine.
Jan should definitely come: all the Jan-fans would be very jealous. ;)

and when I say that my apartment is small, I mean SMALL. there's one room. just so noone thinks it's huge and get suprised.
and Amanda don't worry about the language thing. I can't understand Danish.. well a little bit, if they speak slowly.
so I'll guess it's English...
(mIL suddenly remembers when she and Astrid flew from Copenhagen to London and they couldn't understand what the check-in-woman was saying. and then when they said our booking numbers they said "fyroghalvfems" (don't kill me for my spelling m'kay?) you can't count in 20s... it's just not possible...we were confused, to say the least. (so I said "nittiofyra?" and she thought for a few moments and said "ja", not that anyone cares)
you realize that if you fly with ryanair you get to Skavsta airport... and I have absolutely no idea where that airport is.
so to get into stockholm you have to take coaches and that's kind of expensive about £10 oneway...
if you flew to Arlanda I could get you from there to my apartment cheap... but Skavsta is too far away.
and Laura... check out SAS, they have some cheap "fly to another city"campaigns

then you click on the lowest fare, and select cities and stuff like that.
copenhagen - stockholm is DKK 940 (return)
and from aarhus to stockholm it's DKK 1372 (that's because you have to change planes in copenhagen.)
well well.
the only problem is you can't go back on the sunday 24, you have to go on the monday... which can be a problem if you're working and stuff like that.
ryanair is about DKK 650, hmm... but then you have to pay to get into stockholm... about SEK 130 in each direction..
but I don't know. I'm just throwing suggestions around

I just thought that it would be better to go to Arlanda, since Skavsta if very far away and you have to go by bus for 1½ h or something like that.
have you checked that with the Ryanair flights, do they leave very early from Stockholm.

Kirsten, I think RyanAir is the best... SAS is way to ekspensive and if we go from Esbjerg to that airport you said, mIL (can't remeber the name) and then take a bus or a train or something to Stockholm, it's still cheaper than SAS, I recon...so... let's do it! I'm up for it!! *jumps up and down* We're going to Stockholm!!

Err.....just went to Ryanir.com.... *cough* it says, that if I travel Saturday the 22nd, the ticket will cost me/us 9DKK! 9!!! I reapeat: 9 kr!! That's fucking insane! So, to Stockholm Saturday and back monday will be, including everything, 320DKK! That's cheap!! What do you say?

I'm in Stockholm at the moment and my parents drove me here and we drove through Skavsta and that's REALLY far away. about an hour and an half. or something like that.
but if you look at www.flygbussarna.se you can find buses to go to "Centralen", I'll meet you there.
I think that the buses leave about half an hour after the RyanAir flight gets there.

I know, it's really expensive. I went to Midtfyns, but I'm so lucky because my dad works at SAS so I can fly for like 300 kronor, but on the other hand we had to buy some expensive train tickets....
Now I will make my way to the kitchen and eat something because I'm starving. And also (and this makes me angry) I don't have...hmmm, how do you say it in english? "bredband" in swedish. So I will be ruined. But I'm really looking forward to meet you, and I'll come back tomorrow!
