Hi everyone, the manics are headlining The Dream Ticket on 6Music so one of their gigs from the BBC Archives will be broadcast.

This will be on Monday 23 June from 10pm.

what gigs do they have on archive that could be used?

they have used the phoenix festival 1996 set before on the dream ticket.

I think they're a bbc station so probably one of the ones broadcast on radio 1 - they broadcast Cardiff 98 live and the Coal Exchange so maybe one of them.

Theres a BBC archive recording of the London Astoria 20/12/92 set too, be good if they played that as it sounds great.

if you have sky digital you can get six music on the radio stations. It used to be channel 911 and now I think its moved to 870 or thereabouts. I like BBC 7 too, the BBC's station for old comedy where i've listened to such gems as old Goodness Gracious Me and the original radio series of World of Pub.

on freeview digital it is channel 77 i think.

If they broadcast the Coal Exchange gig hopefully it will be in its entirety including SWSS and Wattsville Blues

I don't think they'll broadcast an entire gig, regardless of what gig it is they play. There'll probably be between 5-10 songs I imagine. I've never been interested in a band who headlines a dream ticket before, but the second headliners get about 5 songs, so make of that what you will...
