After the forum died for a while, I was wondering if the FD MOVE meetup is still on or not?
Well I'm going to be there anyway - got my super cheap train tickets just waiting for my festival ticket (crosses everything). I'm all for meeting up at the venue (I'll be hopefully watching all the acts though, I can't believe I get to see Manics Flaming Lips and SuperFurries in one day!:) :)

I thought the train ticket vouchers came with the ticket?

They do, but you don't need them to book the train tickets.

WHAT?!?!? so i can book train tickets without having received my tickets (for which wayahead must be killed..) how do i do that then?
oh yeah, and where/when is this meetup?
Um, go to www.virgintrains.co.uk/move
That gives you the micro site from where you can get a link to an online train booking system. Move tickets must be booked online through that.

thanks. i'm trying to do it now, but everytime i select a time it tells me it's not available. I'm on the verge of just kicking the thing out the window. *annoyed*
It costs a bleeding fortune to travel all the way up there, if you're not taking up the virgin deal. You have to return the next day though don't you, otherwise the ticket is invalid?
Well yeah, although i can't quite see what's stopping you buying two sets of tickets, will cost 10 pounds rather than 5 pounds tho.
Hey, that's a good idea. Wouldn't you have to buy another MOVE ticket to get another voucher though?

Hey Amanda, you can have my voucher (if my tickets ever arrive that is! STILL waiting for them!)
I am now flying to Manchester (long story, will tell all when I see you!) so won't be requiring the train.
Text me with your address and I will post it to you.
