Jello Biafra

I've just discovered whilst doing my politics homework(unusuccessful candidates in primaries if you want to know) that Jello Biafra was nominated for the Green Party in 2000 but resigned from the race and then said the Green Party should eventually boot out their leader ralph nader anyhow.
I knew he put himself forward for san francisco mayor in the seventies but I think this is quite interesting. If nobody else agrees well, you've learnt some new trivia today!:D

Sounds great!! My husband's a huge DKs fan - he based his law degree dissertation on their obscenity trial, and took me to a Jello spoken word gig at sheffield last year - I was completely bowled over and couldn't believe he'd been talking for almost three hours.

I know very little about JB or the DKs. But the bit in 'As seen on TV' by Pitchshifter, where he squeals 'Everyone a hermaphrodite!' creases me up every time!
