An autopsy on Terri Schiavo, the severely brain damaged woman whose death sparked an intense debate over a person's right-to-die, showed that her brain was severely "atrophied," weighed less than half of what it should have, and that no treatment could have reversed the damage.

You can read the whole article from the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/15/national/15cnd-schiavo.html?hp&ex=1118894400&en=34ad0c54c12b4b1b&ei=5094&partner=homepage)

I just figured I would put this up since there was so much discussion of her on here a few months ago.

Love and Limes,
Jo

Thank you. That's good to know.
I was so weirdly torn over the whole thing.
I think I fell for the propaganda a bit, not at all like me!

Yeah, that is good to know, as it suggests the doctors were right to stop treatment, even if I don't entirely agree with the way they did it. It would have been awful had the autopsy shown that her brain was still fairly healthy.
